Why Them?

I do not understand why this country loathes helping common people who are trying to get along but will happily bail out Bear Stearns.

Is it because we all think we are Bear Stearns people? We aren’t. The waste of the Pluto class is complete. The military has been fattened for our “War on Terror” and now industry is being fattened with this bailout. The industrial-military complex, which has been our guarantor of expansion is now our biggest liability (or, as I see it, has always been).

Maybe this nation’s money should be used to build greatly needed housing in New Orleans, to replace the collapsed bridge in Minneapolis, to provide healthcare to forty-five million uninsured Americans, and at the top of my list: to build a usable subway system in Los Angeles (A monorail would be fine, too).

Instead, we give money to old modes, harmful institutions.

Our government does not have our backs.

It had been this way since the 80s. Now it's just getting worst for everything is accumulating over time. The government and the businessmen slept in the same bed, shared the same pot of cash. They're looking for each other back. The corporation provides big cash funding political campaign. In the return, the politicians changed the law graduately to be more and more pro-business. Tax money is channelling back to the corporation in all kind of forms: tax cut, tax deduction, subsidies, contract award......As the matter of fact there is no such thing is a free market. The corporation survives on socialism during good economic cycle. Whenever they're failing by their own greediness or stupidity, tax money (or socialism system) is again used bailing them out. The whole propagandas about wonderful Capitalism, free market economy, and competition are simply just MYTHs. They were created by those crooks (politicians and businessmen) to cover up their dirty deeds and to fool people. The corruption is in all levels of the government: federal, state, local. Since all the mainstream media outlets are also own by the corporation. They also uniformly chant and spew out the same propagandas. They do all the thinking for you. American people has graduately lose their ability to reason, and to think logically. They have to struggle day after day, long hours at work, labor to pay their debts, and thus too tired, too busy, too ignorant, too helpless, too comform, too whimsy to rebel, to ask question, to fight back, and to change.

I'm with ya....

But, meanwhile it's very troubling about the state of this economy....

Bear Staers sold for less than the Yankee's 10 year contract for A-Rod.

Horrifying!
