Shall I Head to Connecticut with My Wood Chipper?

Joe Lieberman is hard to stomach. I do wish he would disappear.

Of course, it is easy to get riled up by one man. One does want to direct one’s frustration toward a scapegoat. I will take personal responsibility for my dark feelings. It is easier to hate Joe than it is to face my own healthcare disappointments.

I will not go to Connecticut to chip Joe. I will have to suck it up. That’s what Joe wants.

Should they call his bluff? Is there not any other senator they can find to get that 60th vote?

Joe—wipe off that smirk.

If we don't get a health care bill we better take to the streets. Perhaps, if we were out there now--

Where are the organizers for this.

OK to give the benefit of the doubt, you might look at Joe and say - OK, all this talk of 'mavericks' and 'going rogue' from the Palin camp is BS and Joe Lieberman is actually all that. Won't toe the party line - true to his principles,except...

He's from CT, where the insurance companies live, too, and they've contributed millions to his campaigns. Is he actually rogue enough to vote against the interests of his state's biggest employers? The other thing is the flip flop on the Medicare buy-in which he supported for years. So, how true to your principles can you be if you change your mind about them?

Bottom line - there is no benefit of the doubt and being a rogue hasn't benefited anyone.

He's not a scapegoat, Donny. He is just an unprincipled spoiler protecting the interests of billionaires and the unfettered push to the bottom line of the insurance companies. If the Democrats bend over backwards to please him, alienate the liberals and lose the bill - The Obama administration will be completely to blame.

Judith---we must take to the streets...--I've always wondered why people sit around doing nothing. Perhaps one of us needs to organize it?

Rebecca---I'll go with the woodchipper and take photos.

John---You got it. He's a political guy. He's a nightmare.
