Are You a Libertarian?

My sister-in-law directed me to this very simple sight that will help you determine if you are a Libertarian. (Thanks Rebecca) Apparently, though I wish I was one, I am not a Libertarian. I scored 80% on personal issues and 40% on economic issues for Liberal. This makes me a Liberal. On the graphed chart, I am close to Moderate. Hillary in 2008? Sure!

Take the forty-five second quiz:

The way these questions are written, one is probably less Libertarian than this survey makes out. Nobody is going to vote for a measure calling for increased “corporate welfare.” More people would support the statement, “in order to encourage the development of alternative fuels, the government should provide tax breaks to companies using energy sources that don’t harm our environment.” “Repeal laws prohibiting adult possession and use of drugs” also means, “legalize crack.” You get the point. Be mindful of the agenda behind these things.

Your PERSONAL issues Score is 90%.
Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 30%.

I'm right there in the Liberal quadrant. And I'm happy there...

Why, there's Bill and Hil, and Oh look, JFK just walked in the room. Pass the mineral water, won't you, Darling...?

I agree with Dan. I recall that my (and Don's) niece brought home a similar test from a social studies class in High School. But instead of the Libertarian quadrant, it said 'Anarchist'.
