Why do they get articles 28-34?
Articles 28 to 34 define Iraq as a welfare state in the tradition of Western Europe. The constitution exempts the poor from taxes while guaranteeing universal healthcare and free education at all levels for all Iraqis. It guarantees the right of Iraqis to a clean environment and commits the state to preserving the biological diversity of wildlife.
And we get what? The right to bear arms?
And the fatter we get as a nation, should we really be running around like that?
Okay, so the Iraqi constitution won't fruish. However, I can't believe the Iraqis have a piece of paper that guarantees health, education and a clean environment and all we get are freed slaves and no unusual punishment.

What if we all just went along with this stupid war, as crazy and lethal and detrimental to the world as it is? We are all really doing anyway, because all we are doing to stop it is complain about it and maybe throwing some of our spare change at organizations working against it. I'm going to try.
It isn't working. I keep thinking, maybe if we all just do our best to raise awareness of how ludicrous it is, it will seep into the consciousness of our society and things will change. Okay, that's idealistic, but idealism is all we've got unless we bear some of our own arms. I mean, it's idealistic on their part to believe the good will get a harp in heaven, so why can't we free thinkers have an earthbound idealism? Polls say public opinion for the war is waning, so maybe it’ll fruish.
And maybe by the “right to bear arms” the founders meant the noun and not the verb form of “bear.” Maybe we all have the right to furry arms if we join an organized militia.
