For my Writer Friends

You know how you keep a calendar and you put great things in there? Like Go-to-Southampton and Dinner-with-Caitlin and Pick-up-the-Chicken? Well, you can do the same thing with your writing.

Next week: Act 3.
The week after: Act 4.
The week after that: Polish it up

Stuff like that. Why not? If you can keep to your calendar when it comes to chicken, you can certainly keep to it when it comes to your projects.

Okay, this blog entry is for me.

It's hard. I need to start a book proposal and have vowed to work at 5 a.m. each morning until it is done. After the wedding. OY. I'm not a disciplined person in that way and fear yet another erosion of a great idea.

Licious, Just jot down notes for the book idea as you are on the fly---keep jotting---and eventually, there will be a HEFT---and you will HAVE to do something with it. So then, you can make your schedule. All Righty?

Note to self: Why does having a period of unlimited free time make me less productive?
